4-H STEM programming engages New Jersey youth in hands-on, inquiry-based learning across science, engineering, technology, and math. Rooted in Cooperative Extension’s mission, 4-H brings cutting-edge STEM topics to young people—empowering them to become innovative problem-solvers and future leaders.

Clubs and Programs

STEM clubs and short-term programs are offered in:

  • Your local NJ county: Youth work with an adult volunteer to explore a wide variety of STEM topics.
  • On-campus at Rutgers University: Youth work with faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students in engaging and cutting-edge science programs in the field, classroom, and online virtually.
